Thanks for choosing ParTeeOf18! Before you tee off with the app, here are the “ground rules” — simple, fair, and meant to keep things smooth for everyone.
These Terms apply whenever you:
If we add features later (like tournaments, premium subscriptions, or community forums), we might add Additional Terms, and we’ll let you know when they apply.
You will need an account for accessing ParTeeOf18 features.
You’ll choose a username/password — keep it secure. You’re responsible for anything that happens under your login.
If you suspect someone else is accessing your account, let us know straight away.
We may let you sign in via services like Google, Apple, or social logins — or integrate with other platforms like mapping services or payment processors.
If you do, that third party might share some info with us (with your permission).
Note: we’re not in control of their policies, so make sure you’re comfortable with theirs too.
ParTeeOf18 is meant for honest, fun scorekeeping and stats tracking. Please don’t:
If someone misuses ParTeeOf18, we might suspend or terminate access — but we’ll try to be fair and give notice when we can.
When you enter scores, stats, or course notes (“User Data”), you keep ownership of it.
By using the Service, you allow us to store, display, analyze, and use that data to provide your round history, leaderboards, analytics, and personalized suggestions.
We might anonymize aggregated data (for things like “average round length” or “most-used courses”) to improve the app — but we won’t share personally identifiable data without your permission or unless required by law.
The name “ParTeeOf18,” our logo, app design, course-mapping visuals, and user interface are ours. All rights reserved.
You’re welcome to use the app to track your golf rounds, but don’t copy our branding, reverse-engineer our app, or claim we made your stuff.
Some features may be free, others might be part of a subscription or one-time fee (“Premium Features”).
We’ll clearly show pricing, renewal terms, cancellation policies, and what you get.
Subscriptions may auto-renew unless you cancel ahead of time.
Payments are handled via trusted third-party services (e.g. app-store billing or payment processors). You agree to their rules as well.
Prices, tax rules, or available features may change occasionally — we’ll let you know in advance and you can choose to stick around or opt out.
We strive to keep ParTeeOf18 reliable, accurate, and helpful. But real-world golf is messy. GPS might be off, course layouts may not be perfect, and users might enter stats incorrectly.
We offer the Service “as-is” and “as-available.” We don’t promise zero downtime, perfect accuracy, or that you won’t have bugs or glitches.
Use ParTeeOf18 as a tool and companion — not a guaranteed official scorecard or arbiter of truth.
We’re here to make golf more fun and informative, but if something goes wrong — like data loss, app crashes, or user disputes — we’re not on the hook for huge damages.
To the extent allowed by law, our liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us (if anything) in the last twelve months — or otherwise a modest amount if you never paid.
You’re free to stop using ParTeeOf18 any time, or delete your account via the app settings or by contacting us.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account (with notice when feasible) if we believe the Terms have been violated or your behavior is harmful.
Even if your access ends, certain sections — like liability, data ownership, or intellectual property — still apply afterward.
We’ll probably tweak and improve things over time — new features, business models, legal requirements, etc.
If we do, we’ll post the updated version on our site or in the app, and give you notice if the changes are big.
If you continue using the app after the changes, we’ll take that as agreement to the new version.
If you and we ever have a serious legal dispute, we might ask you to agree to arbitration instead of going to court.
That means a neutral arbitrator helps decide, rather than a judge or jury.
We can decide whether arbitration, a simplified claim process, or small-claims court is appropriate.
We’d waive the right to class-action lawsuits or joining other user claims into a big group (unless local laws say we can’t).
If any part of this dispute-resolution section is deemed unenforceable, the rest stays valid.
These Terms (plus any “Additional Terms” we post for special features) are the full agreement between you and ParTeeOf18.
If a clause turns out to be illegal or invalid, we’ll remove or change that part without throwing out the whole agreement.
We might assign or transfer our rights under this agreement (for example, if part of the business is sold). You can’t transfer your rights or obligations without our permission.
We rely on app-store distribution (like Google Play or Apple’s App Store). By using the app, you agree that those stores’ terms may also apply.
If we send you notices (like policy updates or account info), we’ll use the email you registered with — so keep it up to date.
